Removal

Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
|

Disconnect the socket from the generator and a wire from the plug «B +» the generator.

Weaken an adjusting bolt of a tension of a belt and turn out a bolt of fastening of the generator.
|

|
Pressing the generator towards the engine, remove a belt of a drive of the generator.
|
|
|
Turn out a bolt and nuts and remove the generator from the car.
|
|
|
Dismantling
|
|
|
|
Turn out screws and uncover the generator.
|
|
|
Turn out screws and remove a shchetkoderzhatel.
|
|
|
Remove directing a contact ring.
|
|
|
Turn out a nut of fastening of a pulley, then remove a spring washer, a pulley and the rasporny plug.
|
|
|
Turn out four coupling bolts.
|
|
|
Insert an edge of two flat screw-drivers between a forward cover and magnitoprovody a stator and uncover.

|
|
Assembly
Assembly of the generator is carried out in sequence, return dismantling.
Check
Rotor
|
|
|
|
By ohmmeter measure resistance between contact rings. If resistance extremely low, means, there is a short circuit in a rotor winding. If conductivity is absent, means, there is a break in a rotor winding, thus it is necessary to replace a rotor. Resistance: 3,1 Ohm.

|
|
Ohmmeter check conductivity between a contact ring and a rotor anchor. In the presence of conductivity, replace a rotor.
|
|
|
Stator
|
|
|
|
Ohmmeter check conductivity between wires of the coil of a stator. In the absence of conductivity replace a stator.
|
|
|
Ohmmeter check conductivity between coils of a stator and a stator. In the presence of conductivity, replace a stator.
|
|
|
Replacement of brushes
|
|
If brushes are worn-out to the limiting line, replace them.
|
|
|
Otpayayte a wattled wire also remove a spring and a brush.
Establish a spring of a brush and a new brush in a shchetkoderzhatel.
Insert a brush so that there was a distance in 2–3 mm between the line of limiting wear and an end face of a shchetkoderzhatel.
Solder a wattled wire to a shchetkoderzhatel.

Installation
Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.
|
|
- Establish the generator on the engine. Insert the central bolt of fastening of the generator, but do not screw on it a nut.
- Move the generator to one party on the central bolt of fastening of the generator and measure distance between a support of the generator and an arm. Pick up a set from the rasporny washers, corresponding to the measured distance.
- Insert rasporny washers and screw a nut on the central bolt of fastening of the generator.
