Assembly of a starter is carried out in sequence, return dismantling.

Adjustment of a gap of a gear wheel

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a wire of the engine of a starter from the plug "M".
    Additional wires connect plugs of the storage battery to plugs S and M.

The following check is necessary for executing during 10 with as the coil of the traction relay, otherwise, can fuse.

    Include ignition, thus a gear wheel of a starter it will be pushed forward. A finger remove a gear wheel back and shchupy check a gap between a gear wheel and a stopper.
    If the gap differs from demanded, adjust it, adding or cleaning laying between the traction relay and a forward cover. Gear wheel gap: 0,5–0,2 mm.

Check of the traction relay of a starter

Disconnect a wire of the engine of a starter from the plug "M". The traction relay is serviceable, if the plunzher is involved at connection of plugs of the storage battery to S and M plugs. If the gear wheel is not put forward, replace the traction relay.


This check is necessary for executing during 10 with as the coil of the traction relay, otherwise, can fuse.

Check of a holding winding of the traction relay

Disconnect a wire of the engine of a starter from the plug "M". Additional wires connect plugs of the storage battery to the plug "S" and the case of the traction relay and manually to a stopper extend a gear wheel. If the gear wheel remains in this situation, means, the holding winding of the traction relay is serviceable.


This check is necessary for executing during 10 with as the coil of the traction relay, otherwise, can fuse.

Check of return of a plunzher of the traction relay

Disconnect a wire of the engine of a starter from the plug "M". Additional wires connect plugs of the storage battery to the plug "M" and the case of the traction relay, thus the gear wheel of a starter should be pushed forward. After a detachment of wires the gear wheel of a starter should return to a starting position quickly.


This check is necessary for executing during 10 with as the coil of the traction relay, otherwise, can fuse.

Operational tests (idling)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    For carrying out tests of idling collect the scheme shown in drawing.
    Establish a rheostat cursor in such situation at which the voltmeter will show tension 11,5 In, thus check a current consumed by a starter and be convinced that the shaft of a starter is turned easily and smoothly. If the consumed current differs from demanded, by the table determine and eliminate a cause of defect.
