Testing of collaboration of an automatic transmission and the engine on the motionless car (F4A42)

Testing is carried out to define the maximum frequency of rotation of the engine when the lever of the selector is established in provisions "D" or "R", and also to check operation of the hydrotransformer, a starter and the unilateral coupling, and also the characteristic of couplings and brakes.

At testing performance nobody should stand ahead of and behind the car.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Before testing check levels of all operational liquids and, if necessary, finish them to the normal.
    • Level of transmission liquid should be about a label of "NOTES" on the index.
    • The temperature of transmission liquid should be in limits 80-100°C.
    • Temperature of cooling liquid 80-100°C.
    Establish a maple emphasis under back wheels. Tighten the parking brake and press a brake pedal. Start the engine. Move the selector lever to a position "D". The left foot press against the stop a brake pedal, and the right foot smoothly press an accelerator pedal. When frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine does not increase any more, read indications of a tachometer and release an accelerator pedal.

  1. For an exception of damage of a transmission testing carry out during 8 pages.
  2. If it is necessary to carry out more than one testing at the working engine move the selector lever to a position of "N" and leave the engine to work at frequency of rotation of idling before cooling of transmission liquid. Operation of the engine on frequency of rotation of idling cools transmission liquid and prevents deterioration of its properties.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine is higher than the specification in a position "D" and "R".
    • Low pressure in the pipeline.
    • Proskalzyvaniye of brake tapes on low transfer and backing transfer. Frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine is higher than the specification only in a position "D".
    • Proskalzyvaniye of coupling of lowering transfer. If frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine is higher than the specification only in «R» position.
    • Proskalzyvaniye of backing coupling. If frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine is lower than the specification in a position "D" and "R".
    • Hydrotransformer damage.
    • Insufficient engine capacity
