Check of the fuel pump

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Switch off ignition.
  1. Additional wires submit tension to the socket of the fuel pump and check, works or the pump does not work.

To hear the working fuel pump located in a fuel tank, remove a stopper from a toplivonalivny mouth.

  1. Press a hose of supply of fuel, whether to define creates pressure the fuel pump.

  1. . Remove a pillow of back sitting and remove the inspection panel of the fuel pump.
  1. For pressure removal in fuel system disconnect the socket of the fuel pump, start the engine and wait while it will not stop in connection with production of fuel from топливопроводов and the fuel highway.

Before separation топливопроводов remove pressure in fuel system, otherwise, the fuel being under pressure, will intensively follow from fuel system.

  1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery and connect the socket of the fuel pump.
  1. Connect to the fuel filter the manometer adapter (09353–24000, 09353–24100, 09353–38000) and tighten a bolt of fastening the demanded moment. Inhaling moment: 25–35 N • m.
  1. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.
  2. Additional wires submit tension to the socket of the fuel pump and check that there are no leakages of fuel from manometer connections.
  3. Start the engine and leave it to work at frequency of rotation of idling.
  4. Measure pressure of fuel. Pressure of fuel: 350 kPas.
  5. If the measurements executed in steps 7 and 8, do not correspond to demanded value of pressure of fuel, define the reason and execute necessary repair.

  1. Remove pressure in fuel system.
  2. Disconnect a hose and a manometer.

Close connection by a towel to exclude the razbryzgivany fuels, caused by residual pressure in топливопроводе.

  1. Replace a sealing ring on the hose end.
  2. Connect a hose to the fuel highway and tighten a connecting nut the demanded moment.
  3. Check tightness of fuel system.
