Check of frequency of rotation of idling

Before check of frequency of rotation of idling be convinced that spark plugs, fuel nozzles, the modulator of frequency of rotation of idling (ISC), a compression etc. are in an order.

Check conditions

  • The engine should be heated-up to temperature of cooling liquid 80-95°C.
  • Headlights, dimensional lighting, the fan of a radiator and all consumers of electric energy should be switched off.
  • The transmission should be established in neutral situation.
  • The steering wheel should be established for movement directly forward.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Connect a tachometer to primary winding of the coil of ignition or the scanner to the diagnostic socket.
  2. Start up the engine and leave it to work at frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft idling.
  3. No more, than on 5 with increase frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft to 2000-3000min-1 then let's to it work idling within 2 minutes.
  4. By a tachometer determine frequency of rotation of idling.

Frequency of rotation of idling:

Engine of 1,6 l: 850±100 mines-1
L engines 1,8 and 2,0: 700±100 mines–1
