Support of a forward brake

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a forward wheel. Turn out a hollow bolt and disconnect from a support a brake hose.

For an exception of an effluence of brake liquid close an opening in a brake hose a suitable stopper.

    Turn out bolts of fastening of a support. Remove a support and brake shoes. Turn out bolts of fastening of the holder of a support to a rotary fist.
    Remove a fixing element of a support.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check a support on lack of wear, damages, cracks and a rust. Check the piston on lack of a rust, damages, cracks and wear of an external surface. Check the plug and directing finger on absence of damages and a rust. Check a spring and covers on absence of damages. Check a fixing element on lack of wear, damages, cracks and a rust.
  1. Do not use an emery paper for cleaning of a surface of the piston.
  2. It is necessary to replace all rubber details with the new.
    Measure thickness of a brake disk. By the indicator of hour type measure palpation of a brake disk at small distance from external edge.

Thickness of a brake disk:

The nominal: 24 mm
The minimum admissible: 22,4 mm

Maximum permissible palpation: 0,08 mm
Maximum permissible difference of thickness of a brake disk: 0,01 mm

  1. By micrometer measure thickness of a disk in eight places, approximately through everyone 45 ° at distance of 10 mm from external edge of a disk.
  2. The indicator of hour type check palpation of a brake disk. The indicator of hour type fix in any convenient place and, turning a brake disk, define its palpation at distance of 5 mm from external edge.
    If necessary, replace a brake disk.

Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a dustproof cover of the piston.
    The compressed air squeeze out the piston from the support cylinder.
  1. At piston expression by the compressed air have no fingers in front of the piston.
  2. Be careful, as from the channel the compressed air together with the piston blows brake liquid.
    Edge of a screw-driver remove a sealing ring from the piston.

Assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Clear all details, except for brake shoes, isopropyl alcohol.
    Put special greasing on a sealing ring of the piston and establish it in a piston flute.
    Collect the piston and piston covers in the following order:
    – put special greasing on walls of the cylinder of a support, an external surface of the piston and a piston cover;
    – establish a piston cover how it is shown in drawing;
    – insert a piston cover into an internal flute of a support and move the piston into a support.
    Collect mobile details in the following order:

– put special greasing on an external surface of the plug, directing finger and in an opening for the plug and establish protective covers;

– insert covers into support flutes.

    Establish brake shoes.

Never put greasing on a brake disk and brake shoes.

    Screw and tighten the demanded moment of an inhaling a hollow bolt of fastening of a brake hose.

Inhaling moments:

Directing finger: 35–45 N • m
Bolt of fastening of a directing finger: 22–33 N • m
Bolt of a fixing element of a support: 65–75 N • m
Hollow bolt of fastening of a brake hose: 25–30 N • m

  1. Before installation check that surfaces of bolts and a directing finger are not damaged.
  2. Remove air from a hydraulic drive of brake system. Several times press a pedal of a brake and check absence of leakage of brake liquid.

Installation

Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish brake shoes and a support. Never put greasing on a brake disk and brake shoes. Screw and tighten the demanded moment of an inhaling a bolt of fastening of a support.
    Screw and tighten the demanded moment of an inhaling a hollow bolt of fastening of a brake hose.
    Fill in in a tank brake liquid. Remove air from a hydraulic drive of brake system. Several times press a pedal of a brake and check absence of leakage of brake liquid.
