Balancing shaft

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a gear belt.
  2. Turn out all bolts of fastening of the oil pallet.
  3. Remove the oil pallet.
  4. Remove the mesh oil filter and a sealing ring of round section.
  5. Remove a casing of the oil pump.
  1. Remove the sensor of pressure of oil.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of a balancing shaft.
  1. Remove knot of balancing shaft.
  1. Turn out bolts and remove from the block of cylinders the case of the oil pump and a sealing ring of round section.
  2. Uncover the oil pump from the case of the oil pump.

Check

Forward cover

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check lubricant openings on lack of contaminations and, if necessary, clear them.
  2. Check bearings of the forward cover, contacting to balancing shaft on lack of wear, damages and jammings.
  3. Check a forward cover on lack of cracks or damages and if necessary replace it.
  4. Replace the split or damaged forward cover.

Balancing shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check necks of shaft on lack of wear or jamming
  2. In the presence of excessive wear or jamming traces, carefully check the bearing.
  1. In the presence of defects replace the bearing or a balancing shaft.

Oil consolidation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check working edges of oil consolidation on lack of wear and damages.
  2. Check working edges of oil consolidation on absence of destruction.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Grease gear wheels and combine adjusting labels on gear wheels.
  1. Put Locitite272 hermetic on bolts of fastening of a gear wheel and an intermediate gear wheel.
  1. Using the special tool 09231-27100, establish in the case of the oil pump oil consolidation of the forward party of a cranked shaft.
  1. Fill with hermetic a groove of the case of the oil pump. Hermetic: Loctite 5900 or equivalent.
  1. The thickness of a layer of hermetic should be near 2,5±0,5 mm.
  2. After drawing of hermetic establish the case of the oil pump within no more than 5 minutes.
  1. Establish in the case of the oil pump a new sealing ring of round section and temporarily tighten bolts of fastening of the pump.
  2. Establish the case of the oil pump with a new sealing ring of round section and tighten the demanded moment bolts of fastening of the oil pump. Inhaling moment: 20–27 N • m.
  1. Establish the block of balancing shaft in the block of cylinders.
  1. Put a hermetic layer in a groove of a flange of the oil pallet.
  1. The thickness of a layer of hermetic should be 3±0,5 mm.
  2. After drawing of hermetic establish the oil pallet within no more than 5 minutes.
  1. Establish the oil pallet and fix bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment. Inhaling moment: 10–12 N • m.
  1. Using the special tool, screw the sensor of pressure of oil, previously having greased a sensor carving with a hermetic layer. Hermetic: Threebond 1104 or equivalent.

Do not tighten the pressure sensor with application of the big moment of an inhaling. Moment of an inhaling of the sensor of pressure: 15–22 N • m.
