Corners of installation of forward wheelsCheck of corners of installation of forward wheels is necessary for carrying out at the stand, thus the car should be in horizontal situation with the forward wheels established for rectilinear movement. Previously be convinced that the suspension bracket and a steering are in a normal state, tires and wheels have no defects.
If the convergence does not correspond to demanded value, weaken the left and right lock-nuts of tips of steering drafts, then, rotating drafts, establish demanded corners. Tighten lock-nuts. Convergence (B–A): 0±2 mm.
Moment of an inhaling of a lock-nut of a tip of steering draft: 50–60 N • m
Disorder is a tilt angle of a wheel in relation to a paving in the vertical plane. It can be positive if wheels are inclined outside, or negative if wheels are inclined inside. The corner of disorder is established when manufacturing the car and cannot be regulated. Disorder: 0 °± 30'.
