Corners of installation of forward wheels

Check of corners of installation of forward wheels is necessary for carrying out at the stand, thus the car should be in horizontal situation with the forward wheels established for rectilinear movement. Previously be convinced that the suspension bracket and a steering are in a normal state, tires and wheels have no defects.

Convergence

The convergence is defined as a difference of distances (V-and) between lobbies and back boards of rims of wheels. The positive convergence means that wheels are in front located more closely to each other, than behind, at measurement at height of an average point of a wheel.

If the convergence does not correspond to demanded value, weaken the left and right lock-nuts of tips of steering drafts, then, rotating drafts, establish demanded corners. Tighten lock-nuts. Convergence (B–A): 0±2 mm.

    Adjustment of a convergence should be carried out by rotation of the left and right tip of steering draft on an identical corner.
  • At adjustment of a convergence weaken an external collar of fastening of a protective cover to prevent its twisting.
  • After adjustment tighten lock-nuts of tips of steering drafts and collars of fastening of covers.
  • Adjust a convergence so that the difference between the left and right side did not differ more than on ±1 mm.

Moment of an inhaling of a lock-nut of a tip of steering draft: 50–60 N • m

Disorder

Disorder is a tilt angle of a wheel in relation to a paving in the vertical plane. It can be positive if wheels are inclined outside, or negative if wheels are inclined inside. The corner of disorder is established when manufacturing the car and cannot be regulated. Disorder: 0 °± 30'.

The corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня is established when manufacturing the car and cannot be regulated. If the corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня does not correspond to demanded values, replace the pognuty or damaged details. Corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня: 2°49 '±30.


  1. Before check and adjustment of corners of installation of wheels the forward suspension bracket should be free from the worn-out, free or damaged details.
  2. Adjustment of corners of installation of wheels is necessary for carrying out, using the special tool 09529-21000.
  3. Disorder and corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня are established when manufacturing the car and cannot be regulated.
  4. If disorder and a corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня do not correspond to demanded values, replace the pognuty or damaged details.
  5. The difference of a deviation of a corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня between the left and right side of the car should be no more ±30'.

Adjustment of a convergence of back wheels

Convergence of back wheels: 4 (+3/-1) mm.

Adjustment of a convergence of a back wheel carry out turn of connecting draft of the cross-section lever of a back suspension bracket.

Left side: rotation clockwise–> a positive convergence.
Right side: rotation clockwise–> a negative convergence.
Convergence change at turn of connecting draft on one turn: 0,6 mm (0,6 °).

After adjustment of a convergence tighten both nuts the demanded moment.

Inhaling moment: 50–60 N • m.
