Check of spark plugs

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery. For a tip disconnect high-voltage wires from spark plugs.

At a detachment of high-voltage wires from spark plugs pull for a wire tip, instead of for a wire as it can be damaged.

    Turn out a candle, using a candle key. For an exception of damage of a candle establish a candle key strictly along a candle axis.

The compressed air clear candles that will exclude dirt hit in engine cylinders after a vyvinchivaniye of spark plugs.

    Check spark plugs on existence of the following defects:
    1) insulator damage;
    2) worn-out electrodes;
    3) deposit;
    4) laying damage;
    5) an insulator condition on a spark plug tip.
    Wire template check an interelectrode gap of a spark plug. Correction of a gap is carried out by a podgibaniye of a lateral electrode.

The interelectrode gap of a spark plug is of great importance, as at too big and at too small gap the size of a spark that leads to decrease in overall performance of the engine changes. The gap should correspond to technical requirements always.

The central electrode by no means cannot be bent, as it can lead to breakage of an insulator and a candle exit out of operation. For a podgibaniye of a lateral electrode of a candle it is necessary to use the special tool.
